1. On/off：To switch backup battery on/off, i.e. If the Switch at ON position (towards the back of the case), the built-in backup battery will charge your iPhone plugged in the case.

Charge the iPowerJacket™ battery

1. Connect the standard end of USB cable with the power adaptor that came with your iPhone or a USB 2.0 port on a computer
2. Connect the mini end of USB cable with the USB port of the iPowerJacket™
3. Make sure the Switch is at OFF position.
4. LED indicates the status of the charging mode: Red for charging in progress and Green for charging completion

Charge the iPowerJacket™ battery and your iPhone at the same time

1. Make sure the Switch is at OFF position.
2. Turn off your iPhone and slide it into iPowerJacket™, make sure that the pin connector is securely inserted into the bottom of the iPhone
3. Connect the standard end of USB cable with the power adaptor that came with your iPhone or a USB 2.0 port on a computer
4. Connect the mini end of USB cable with the USB port of the iPowerJacket™.
5. A battery symbol will appear on the screen of your iPhone .
6. LED on the iPowerJacket™ indicates the status of the charging mode.

Charge your iPhone by the iPowerJacket™

1. Turn off your iPhone and slide it into iPowerJacket™, make sure that the pin connector is securely inserted into the bottom of the iPhone
2. Put the Switch to ON position.
3. A battery symbol will appear on the screen of your iPhone.
4. Put the Switch to OFF position when the charging is finished.

Charge the iPowerJacket™ battery and your iPhone at the same time in your car

1. Make sure the Switch is at OFF position.
2. Turn off your iPhone and slide it into iPowerJacket™, make sure that the pin connector is securely inserted into the bottom of the iPhone.
3. Connect the standard end of USB cable with the car charger that came with your iPowerJacket™.
4. Connect the mini end of USB cable with the USB port of the iPowerJacket™.
5. Plug the car charger into the 12V power outlet in your car.
6. A battery symbol will appear on the screen of your iPhone.
7. LED on the iPowerJacket™ indicates the status of the charging mode.

Syncing iPhone with your computer, while your iPhone is in iPowerJacket™

1. Make sure the Switch is at OFF position.
2. Connect the standard end of USB cable with a USB 2.0 port on your computer
3. Connect the mini end of USB cable with the USB port of the iPowerJacket™.
4. Open iTunes on your computer, select iPhone in the iTunes source list, start normal iPhone syncing process according to your iPhone User’s Guide
5. When iPhone is syncing with your computer, iPhone shows “Sync in progress.”

Reminder：It is normal that the temperature of the bottom part of the iPowerJacket™ gets higher during the charging process.

Warning： Please read all instructions and warnings carefully before using this product. Improper usage may result in product damage, excess heat, toxic fumes, fire and explosion, for which are not Manufacturer is responsible.
 

1. Do not place this product in fire or other excessively hot temperature environments including intensive sunlight heat
2. Be cautious of excessive drops, bumps, abrasions or other impacts to this product. If there is any damage to the product such as dents, deformities or corrosion, due to any cause, discontinue use and contact manufacturer or dispose of in an appropriate manner
3. Do not disassemble this product or attempt to repair or modify or replace it in any manner.
4. Do not expose this product to moisture or submerge it in liquid. Keep this product dry at all times.
5. Do not attempt to charge this product using any other method, apparatus or connection other than the device’s USB cable, the car charger or the power adaptor that came with your iPhone. For questions or instructions for the various ways to charge the iPowerJacket™ refer to the product’s Instruction Manual.
6. If this product is intended by Purchaser to be used by a minor, purchasing adult agrees to provide detailed instructions and warnings to any minor prior to use. Failure to do so is sole responsibility of purchaser, who agrees to indemnify Manufacturer for any unintended use or misuse by a minor.
7. This product has gone through a thorough quality assurance inspection. If you find that your product or battery is excessively hot, is emitting odor, is deformed, abrased, cut or is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal phenomenon, immediately stop all battery use and contact Manufacturer.
8. Never dispose of this product in the garbage. Disposal of batteries in the garbage is unlawful under state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Always take used batteries to your local battery recycling center.

This product is meant for use only in conjunction with the appropriate mobile entertainment device. Please consult your device packaging to determine whether this product is compatible with your particular mobile entertainment device. Manufacturer is not responsible for any damages to any mobile entertainment device incurred through the use of this product.
 
Manufacturer shall not in any way be liable to you or to any third party for any damages you or any third party may suffer as a result of use, intended or unintended, or misuse of this product in conjunction with any device or accessory other than the appropriate mobile entertainment device for which this battery is designed. Manufacturer will not be responsible for any damages you or any third party may suffer as a result of misuse of this product as outlined above. If you are responsible for battery use with an unintended mobile entertainment device and damages result from such use, you agree to indemnify Manufacturer for any resulting injuries to any third part(ies).
