Warranty Information

This limited warranty applies in the United States and Canada to products (hereby referred to as “Product”) manufactured or distributed by iPowerJacket (hereinafter referred to as “iPowerJacket”), under the iPowerJacket brand name within the United States and Canada. This limited warranty covers 1-year parts and 90 days labor.

iPowerJacket warrants that the product you have purchased from iPowerJacket, or from an authorized iPowerJacket reseller, is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1-year from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”). Your sales receipt, showing the date of purchase of the product, is your proof of the date of purchase. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser, is not transferable and excludes disposable parts.

This limited warranty does not extend to any product not purchased from iPowerJacket or from any unauthorized reseller located in the United States or Canada. This limited warranty also does not extend to any Product that has been damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of accident, misuse, or abuse; (b) by improper installation; (c) as a result of electrical surges or anomalies; (d) by operation outside of the usage parameters stated in the product’s user’s guide; (e) by the use of parts not manufactured or supplied by iPowerJacket; (f ) by unauthorized modification of the Product, or (g) as a result of service by anyone other than iPowerJacket, an authorized iPowerJacket reseller, or an authorized iPowerJacket service provider. iPowerJacket is not responsible for damage to or loss of any software programs, data or other information, or for damage to other hardware, computer and peripherals caused by the Product.

During the Warranty Period, iPowerJacket will, at no additional charge, repair or replace defective parts with new parts or, at the option of iPowerJacket, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this limited warranty will become the property of iPowerJacket. If, after repeated efforts, iPowerJacket is not able to restore the Product to good working order, iPowerJacket, at its option, shall either replace the product with a new or an equivalent product.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY, iPowerJacket MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. iPowerJacket EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES IMPOSED BY LAW THAT MAY NOT BE DISCLAIMED ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.


If your Product fails during the Warranty Period, and provided your return address is located in the United States or Canada, you may us directly or ship the product directly to iPowerJacket for repair service. In returning the Product for repair service, you must prepay all shipping charges, custom duties and taxes, as well as any other charges associated with transportation of the Product. In addition, you are solely responsible for adequately insuring the Product shipped or returned. You assume all risk of loss during shipment.

To return Product for service, you must do the following:
1) Call your iPowerJacket dealer Technical Support at 800-xxx-yyyy. Prior to placing your call, please have the following readily available: your Product model, the serial number, and the date of purchase and a detailed description of the problem.
2) A technician will analyze your problem over the phone. If the technician determines that your Product must be returned for repair, you will be issued a service order number (RMA). The date of your call will be deemed your claim date for purposes of determining whether or not your claim falls within the Warranty Period. Time is strictly of the essence.
3) Clearly write your RMA number on the OUTSIDE of the shipping package on or near the shipping label.
4) Include a copy of your receipt with the Product; along with the detailed description of the problem you are experiencing. Please include all original box contents.
5) Ship the Product, in its original packaging or other secure packaging, insured and freight prepaid to the address provided to you by the iPowerJacket technical support agent.

If upon receipt of the Product, iPowerJacket determines that the problem is not covered by this limited warranty, you will be contacted to determine whether iPowerJacket should repair the problem for a charge or whether the Product should be returned, for an additional cost to you, as received by iPowerJacket.

iPowerJacket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages caused by the Product or the failure of the Product to perform, including, without limitations, any damages arising from loss of use, or lost business, revenue, profits, data or goodwill. iPowerJacket shall not be liable for any claim made by a third party or made by you for a third party. This limitation applies whether damages are sought, or a claim made, under this limited warranty or as a tort claim (including negligence and strict product liability) a contract claim, or any other claim. This limitation cannot be waived or amended by any person. This limitation of liability will be effective even if iPowerJacket or an authorized representative of iPowerJacket has been advised by you of the possibility of any such damages.
